I wrote The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee with Micah Wright in 2004. I had the lunch box as a kid, so it was a thrill to actually get to write these characters! And we did a bang-up job. At the recording session (featuring the entire surviving cast) John Schneider said "This is as good as the show!" and Tom Wopat responded "Heck, this is better than most of our episodes!"
The game itself, alas, was not well received. It was a rally racing game before rally racing was cool, and American gamers were used to tight controls. Still, our writing shone through. Our favorite review said "I HATE this game... but I can't stop playing because I need to find out what happens in the story."
For good measure, I storyboarded all the cinematics.
